It is located in one of Brentwood’s busiest parks
Many families enjoy cooling off during these hot and sticky summer months through water—and luckily, Essex has plenty of splash parks and lidos for all to enjoy. One Essex splash park now has some sessions available after being closed for the winter.
In Brentwood, a “state-of-the-art” splash pad facility offers a range of entertainment. King George’s Splash Pad in Brentwood offers water jets, fountains, sidewinders, directional jets, and a cylinder spray.
In line with official guidance, King George’s Splash Pad will only be open when the temperature is 15C or higher, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. Adults must also accompany their children on any visit.
King George’s Playing Fields shared on April 6: “SPLASH PAD SEASON IS (ALMOST) HERE! We’re getting ready to open our Splash Pad this week… weather permitting! The kiosk is OPEN, the vibes are READY, now we just need that sunshine… Will it be warm enough for some splashtastic fun?”
You can now book sessions on the Everyone Active app. According to the app, there are sessions available on Mondays and Thursdays for the next fortnight, starting from Monday April 13.
