Our annual list, in collaboration with Pride Cymru, recognises the people making the biggest contribution to Wales’ LGBT+ community
The WalesOnline Pinc List is back for 2026 and nominations are now open. The list, which is compiled with the help of Pride Cymru, recognises LGBT+ people across Wales doing their bit to make the world a better place.
The main Pinc List, released on the weekend of Pride Cymru which this year is June 13 and 14, is made up of 40 people and there is a smaller list for rising stars.
If you would like to nominate someone for inclusion on this year’s list the details are all below. Please nominate someone who deserves to be recognised, no matter how small you think it might be. If it’s making a difference to people’s lives, we want to hear all about it.
The list will be published on Saturday, June 13 to coincide with Pride Cymru 2026, which you can get tickets for here.
How to nominate someone
The rules
The person you nominate must be a member of the LGBT+ community and either born and brought up in Wales or have lived here for a substantial amount of time. We want to hear about people who have a significant ongoing influence on the lives of LGBT+ people and particularly about activities which are more than just their paid job.
You do not need to nominate people who were included on the 2025 list, who are automatically up for consideration, unless you want to tell us about new things they’ve done in the past year.
We also want people to tell us about anyone who is a “rising star” – someone who may have come out, moved to Wales, or created something recently but who is making waves in the LGBT+ scene here in Wales in the last 12 months.
To nominate someone we need their name and a description of why you think they should be included in the list. We also need contact details for you, and for them, and confirmation that the person nominated is aware you have put them forward. We will contact them afterwards to confirm the details provided.
