Chelmsford's Miller and Carter restaurant closes for a month for makeover

A popular Essex restaurant has been closed for around a month while undergoing a makeover. The Miller and Carter steakhouse in Chelmsford temporarily closed to customers on Monday (April 27).

The restaurant, on Barnes Mill Road, is expected to remain closed until they reopen on June 5 this year. The Chelmsford restaurant is part of the Miller & Carter chain, which has sites across the country.

A notice on the restaurant website says: “We are now closed for a makeover. We will be opening 5th June, book now for when we re-open.”

It is highly recommended based on past reviews. It is currently rated 4.6 out of five, based on almost 4,000 reviews on Google.

One person described the venue as the “perfect night out”. Another said food was cooked “perfectly” and the restaurant “has a nice vibe”.
