Leeds e-scooter crash with parked car leaves woman fighting for life

A woman is fighting for her life after crashing an e-scooter in a Leeds suburb.

The e-scooter rider crashed into a parked and unattended car on Town Street, Middleton, at 6.40pm on Saturday, April 18. The woman, in her 30s, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision or the events leading up to it. They are also asking anyone in the area with CCTV or dashcam footage to check whether they have captured anything relevant.”
