Arrests after knife and suspected class A drugs seized

Two women and a man have been arrested

Three people have been arrested after police seized a weapon and suspected class A drugs in Dover. Officers from Kent Police spotted a “suspicious” car at around 3.15am this morning (April 23).

They followed the vehicle to Bunker Hill Avenue where it came to a stop. Police then detained the three occupants while the vehicle was searched.

A knife was recovered, alongside a bag of white powder, the contents of which is yet to be confirmed. Officers also seized cannabis and two mobile phones.

Two women, aged 28 and 25, and a 28-year-old man, were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences and possession of a bladed article in public. They remain in custody pending further enquiries.
