Major Bristol route blocked by rush hour crash

A crash has blocked a major road in Bristol, creating long delays in Easton and St Paul’s.

The collision reportedly involves two vehicles on the A4320 Easton Way. The road is blocked in the northbound direction.

Traffic monitor Inrix reports: “A4320 Easton Way Northbound blocked, queueing traffic due to accident, two vehicles involved from A432 Stapleton Road to M32 J3 (St Pauls).”

Travel WEST says: “Easton Way Northbound at Stapleton Road is blocked by a RTC. Plan Ahead, Expect Long Delays & Use alternative Routes.”

A man was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure, as well as driving whilst unfit through drugs and alcohol and driving while disqualified, Avon and Somerset Police said.

No serious injuries were reported in the collision. The road has since reopened.
