A39 and A30 delays as crash blocks major roads

Delays on two major roads in Cornwall have cleared after a crash on the A39.

The road was blocked in both directions between the A30 and Halloon roundabout this morning (Friday, May 1).

The A30 exit slip road to join the A39 was also closed.

National Highways reports: “#A30 eastbound and westbound exit slip roads to A39 (#IndianQueens) are closed due to a collision. @DC_Police are on scene. There are currently no delays on the approach.”

Traffic monitor Inrix reports: “A39 in both directions blocked, slow traffic due to accident from A30 (Indian Queens, Fraddon) to A392 (Halloon Roundabout, Indian Queens).”

Devon and Cornwall Police said the collision involved a motorcycle and the bike was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
