Emergency services swarm Kent road as teenager dies

A murder investigation has been launched after a 19-year-old has died. Kent Police was called at 2.04am on Friday, April 3, 2026, to reports of a serious assault on Belmont Road in Whitstable.

Kent Police released an update this morning (Friday) after emergency services were seen in the residential area. They said the teenager died after suffering injuries consistent with stab wounds.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called at 2.04am on Friday 3 April 2026 to reports of a serious assault on Belmont Road, Whitstable.

“Officers and paramedics attended and a 19 year old boy sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was confirmed deceased at the scene.“A murder investigation has been launched and anyone with information which could assist officers should call 01843 222289, quoting reference 03-0102.“You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
