Across Leeds and the surrounding areas there will be a host of speed cameras in place this week

Leeds will see a number of mobile speed cameras in place this week.
The camera sites are placed generally where there have been several incidents that have led to casualties caused by speeding vehicles. These are areas which the police believe collisions are likely to take place in.
It has been proven by West Yorkshire Police Camera Enforcement, who work on behalf of West Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership, that frequent mobile enforcement is the most effective method to stop crashes. The cameras shine a laser to determine the speeds of passing cars and vehicles.
Below is every mobile speed camera set to be in place this week. These locations are accurate at the time of publication but can be subject to change.
