Heartbreaking appeal for relatives after Leeds man dies alone

The coroner’s office in Wakefield is appealing for help in finding relatives of a man who died in Leeds last month.

Wortley man Noel Michael Binns, aged 52, of Wortley Heights, Wortley Park, Leeds died on Thursday, March 26. Coroner’s officers have been unable to trace any relatives and have appealed for the public’s help.

Anyone with any information should contact the Wakefield Coroner’s Office on 01924 302180.

In a statement, Wakefield Coroner’s Court said: “Coroner’s Officers are appealing for help in tracing any known relatives of Noel Michael Binns, aged 52, of Wortley Heights, Wortley Park, Leeds, LS12 1JF who sadly died on Thursday 26 March 2026.

“Anyone with any information should contact the Wakefield Coroner’s Office on 01924 302180.”
