Officers raced to the scene of a crash in Livingston as one man was rushed to hospital.

The collision took place on Staunton Rise at 1.40pm on Thursday May 14.

Police Scotland said they received reports of two vehicles being involved in the incident.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service as well as the Scottish Ambulance Service were in attendance at the scene.

Locals reported the road was closed for a short period while emergency services dealt with the crash.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.40pm on Thursday, 14 May, 2026, we were called to a report of a crash involving two vehicles on Staunton Rise in Livingston.

“Emergency services attended and one man was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
