Officers remain at the scene this morning as they carry out enquiries.
A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a “disturbance” in Glasgow. The alarm was raised at around 9.40pm on Saturday, May 2 when officers were alerted to an incident.
Emergency services, including Police Scotland, raced to Alderman Road in the Knightswood area of the city. A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to what are described as serious injuries.
His current condition, as well as the full nature of the incident, is not yet known. A photo taken at the scene shows police tape and cones cordoning off a property on the street, which sits across from a pharmacy and a popular row of shops.
Motorists and pedestrians are being prevented from getting near while cops carry out enquiries. A police presence remains in the area this morning so any members of the public with information or questions can approach them.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.40pm on Saturday, 2 May, 2026, we received a report of a disturbance on Alderman Road, Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended, and a 25-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to what are described as serious injuries.
“Officers remain in attendance while enquiries are carried out and anyone with information or concerns is encouraged to approach them.”
