Major Bristol road cordoned off after ‘single vehicle’ collision
A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a motorbike in Bristol this afternoon.
Police were called to the “single vehicle collision” on Whiteladies Road shortly before 4pm on Easter Monday (April 6).
The road was closed in both directions, with officers cordoning off the area.
The area remained cordoned off as of 6pm this evening.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police, said: “We were called to a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on Whiteladies Road, Bristol, at around 3.50pm today (Monday 6 April).
“A man has been taken to hospital with injuries which are believed to be serious, and the road remains closed in both directions.
“Any witnesses and those with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage are asked to contact us on 101 quoting 5226093783 or complete our online appeals form.”
