The boy was taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries
A teenage boy has been seriously injured after being “deliberately” hit by a car in Armley.
It is understood the vehicle failed to stop after hitting the 19-year-old boy in Carr Crofts on Thursday, April 2. West Yorkshire Police said the driver of the grey Volkswagen T Cross failed to stop at the scene after hitting the teenager at around 7.08pm, and fled the scene. The car is yet to be located.
The teenager suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. Officers believe he was struck deliberately and anyone with any information is asked to contact Leeds CID on 101 or online here quoting the crime reference number 13260188232.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: Police in Leeds are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was seriously injured in a fail to stop collision. Leeds CID would like to speak to anyone who witnessed or has footage of the incident which took place on Carr Crofts, Armley during the evening of Thursday 2 April.
“It occurred at about 7.08pm after a grey Volkswagen T Cross was in collision with a 19-year-old teenage boy in the street. The car then made off from the scene and is yet to be located.
“The victim suffered serious injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital. His injuries are not being treated as life threatening.
“Following investigation, officers believe the car struck the teenager deliberately and are currently pursuing a number of lines of enquiry. Anyone who has information about or footage of the collision is asked to contact Leeds CID on 101 referencing crime number 13260188232.
